When I was one-and-twentyby A.E. Housman |
When I was one-and-twenty |
I heard a wise man say, |
‘Give crowns and pounds and guineas |
But not your heart away; |
Give pearls away and rubies |
But keep your fancy free.’ |
But I was one-and-twenty, |
No use to talk to me. |
When I was one-and-twenty |
I heard him say again, |
‘The heart out of the bosom |
Was never given in vain; |
’Tis paid with sighs a plenty |
And sold for endless rue.’ |
And I am two-and-twenty, |
And oh, ’tis true, ’tis true. |

Question: Why are you acting like a 13 year old brat when your nearing 30?
Answer: Because you are bitter, lonely and childish.
Girls. You either love them or ya loath em'
Some days I am pleasantly reminded of how lucky I am to have the lovely ladies in my life that I do. This usually is brought on by something or other which is negative in nature, momentarily this feeling of fortune is being brought upon me by my eyes being opened to how oddly shit some people can be.
This leads to my first point of how with age does not automatically come maturity in any form. Why do women not stick together? I mean we all come from the one generics and chromosomes why is that ladies more often than men are against each other? I know we aren't living in peace & love Avatar or in the 70's like tree loving hippies but would a little dose of remembrance that we are all of one race be so much to ask for? Perhaps it might awaken some people once in a while to the idea of being caring and unselfish humans in heels.....
RANT OVER.
now isn't this hot:
